Lynn is located in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri in the Country Club Plaza at 800 W. 47th Street, Suite 301, Kansas City, Missouri 64112. The office building provides free off street parking and is on the Metro route. Philosophy of Service
From the first day I started my practice I limited my practice to that of serving the legal needs of individuals and their families. I do not represent corporations or insurance companies. I give personal attention to each client and his or her case and strive to make myself accessible by telephone or office visit. I fully understand the need and importance of each client being able to talk to his or her attorney about their case. It is my desire to make myself available to you and to fully educate you in your claim’s process and time table which helps you understand what will be done on your claim and when. The more informed you are of your case the more information you will give me about your claim which generally computes to a better result. We work together.
Attorney Profile
Stephen W. Lynn graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 1972 with a B.A. in History. He obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1975 and started practice after admittance to the Missouri Bar in September 1975. He has practiced law continuously since 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the United States District Court Western District of Missouri and The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. He is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and past member of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Reasonable Fees
Most individuals who need an attorney should be able to afford the attorney of their choice. You will find that my fees are reasonable and clearly spelled out in writing and agreed to in advance. The initial office conference is free. I represent the injured on a contingency fee arrangement which means you pay no fee until there is a monetary recovery. My contingency fee is usually 33 1/3 percent on personal injury and 25 percent on workers’ compensation. I get paid when you do and not until then. If there is no recovery, there is no fee. If the attorney fee is for legal representation for something like a divorce, paternity suit or municipal court representation, I will offer you a fair and reasonable fee.
